More boring shots of my sojourn to Alaska. I've gone through about half of possibles so far.
The entire set of photos is here, btw. (Aunt P: try this URL instead)
Chess Match
My uncle Randy supervises two of my cousins/nephews/whatever the heck they are.

no wonder I take the photos instead of posing. Yikes. My grandparents and my parents flank me. Shot snapped as we entered the ship, and posted the next day. You had the option to purchase, of course. My mom probably did. I just took my own photo of the photo. Notice how my grandmother's eyes are closed - I think that's genetic.
Wall of Shame or Fame
more snapshots taken by the Holland America official photographer. Various relatives (except for the upper left side - no idea who that is). I hope one photo turned out, but I haven't seen an example yet.
Interior of the Amsterdam
a good place to sip a drink and stare, vacant eyed, out at sea. Not that I would do that. No, not at all.
On Board the Amsterdam
bow of the ship. In certain weather, the wind was strong enough to lean against. Worse than Chicago on its most windy day.
Astrology signs
another view of the ship clock
Bar in the Amsterdam
with band stage. Didn't hang out here much - ended up at the Crow's Nest instead.
Den of Inequity
Not really my thing, but the Casino was usually full of suckers, some even from my family.
Theater in Amsterdam
only used it to play team trivia. My mom went to one show, but left as the cheese quotient was a bit high. Some members of our clan went to every trivia match, I only went twice, and both times came in second. Doh!
Wrapped Up in the Possibilities
faux-Kodachrome effect seemed appropriate to use on this Seattle Motel sign.
