Caipirinha - the national drink of Brazil:
especially if the hour is late, and one's belly is already full of Bass Ale. I had never imbibed this particular cocktail, and our out of town guests were describing Caipirinha in such alluring phrases I had to try at least one. The second was even better than the first, but the third melded time, space and gravity, and I haven't quite recovered yet.
I feel sorry for you. Caipirinha is the worst hangover I know of.
Took a sublingual B complex sometime around dawn, washed it down with 1000 mg of C, and several glasses of water. Helped immensely. By noon, I was fine, and able to bike for an hour along the lakefront (on a rented quadcycle, with our friends).
Irish livers are very, very efficient.
Druther hava a caipiróvska, a lime juice, sugar, ice and vodka drink. Rhum or cachaça are just too... sweet?
