The long-awaited launch of guampedia has finally happened.

The Guam Humanities Council's online encyclopedia is about the Pacific Island of Guam and its indigenous Chamorro people.

Guampedia exists to inform a global audience of the unique history, culture, environment and present-day society of Guam. The online encyclopedia seeks to provide a comprehensive, accessible, quality resource that will increase opportunities for greater understanding and knowledge of Guam by people everywhere.

Please join us on this journey of discovery! [From Guampedia]

Check it out, the site looks beautiful, and is crammed full of interesting information.

(note: full disclosure, my aunt is the managing editor)
