Alaska and Russia

This might be the funniest¹ talking point I’ve seen in years.

According to the Republican Party, Sarah Palin has foreign policy experience because Alaska is so close to Russia. Uhh, yeah, I guess it does border on the eastern tip of Siberia.

By this reasoning, I am an expert on Japan² because I lived in Guam for six months, even though I was only ten!
