I love my Taylor, but I’m hankering after an electric mate for her.
I’m the opposite, have had a Fender Strat for many years, but want an acoustic just for strummin’ and pickin’
I was just thinking the same thing. I’m taking a gypsy jazz class at the Old Town School, and now I kind of want one of these:

Wow, those guitars look very cool. I also bet the gypsy jazz class is fun: are you proficient in any Django Reinhardt songs yet?
Heh. I think proficient isn’t the word for it. 🙂 I am definitely getting a lot better at the chords and rhythms. I had never played many jazz chords, so I had to train my left hand to finger 6+9 chords, augmented and diminished chords, and other shapes I wasn’t used to.
